Webinar: ‘Decoding GCF B.28 + GCF insight #17 – Stakeholder views on the GCF’s direct access modality’

About: In this upcoming session, Dr Grant Ballard-Tremeer and the E Co. team will be bringing you our consultant analysis on the latest updates of the world’s largest climate fund – the Green Climate Fund (GCF).

Principal consultant, Dr Jasmine Hyman and Senior analyst, Marcus Arcanjo, will be discussing key takeaways and project developments from the GCF 28th Meeting of the Board (B.28) in March 2021.

Consultant, Alexandra Milano, will also be discussing the findings from our recently published 17th GCF insight report, ‘Stakholder views on the Green Climate Fund’s direct access modality’. In this seventeenth edition of GCF insight, we hear from stakeholders on their views of the GCF’s direct access modality, including key benefits, challenges and knowledge gaps, to identify the best potential approaches to improve the effectiveness of direct access.

About: In this upcoming session, Dr Grant Ballard-Tremeer and the E Co. team will be bringing you our consultant analysis on the latest updates of the world’s largest climate fund – the Green Climate Fund (GCF). We’ll be joined by several special guest speakers.

About: It can be a challenge to keep up to date with the evolving requirements of the different funds and be able to develop effective proposals rapidly. This workshop is designed for you if you’re involved in the project development process and seeking to address the specific needs of your chosen country and match the priorities of funders and key stakeholders, at the appropriate scale.

In this latest E Co. institute training workshop, we will be introducing a number of key concepts and approaches, including:

  1. What are market barriers and why are they important? (Key components of a market barrier analysis)
  2. How can we identify them? (Resources and assessment tools)
  3. What are the different ways to examine and communicate market barriers? (Resources and assessment tools)

Do come prepared with your specific questions on market barriers and barrier analyses and we’ll do our best to answer them. We can also answer any questions on market barriers tailored to specific funds, such as: GCF, AF, NAMA Facility, GEF, among others.
