eco insitute

E Co. institute is the training arm of E Co. and is run by our project formulation experts. E Co. institute builds on our experience developing low-carbon, climate-resilient projects & programmes and the specialist training workshops we’ve conducted across the globe. We aim to build greater capacity amongst organisations worldwide seeking to deepen their knowledge of climate funds and develop skills in unlocking climate finance. 

Our trainings, coaching and courses are intended for mid-level professionals working in NGOs, UN agencies, bilateral organisations, development banks, and local or country government officials.

Training options

1. E CO. INSTITUTE FACE-TO-FACE

Please note: this option is currently adapted online, in light of the present global situation. Our consultants offer bespoke in-person trainings, which can be in your location of choice. We frequently travel across the globe to deliver trainings to individuals and teams, all year round. Please note that the venue, interpreters, refreshments, etc. are the responsibility of the client. You can contact us here for further details and costs. Our face-to-face training sessions include:

  • Training needs survey and 3-page report with results
  • Workshop agenda draft (MS Word)
  • Training materials (PDFs of PowerPoint slides)
  • Training delivery and facilitation of discussions over 2 days*
  • Workshop report (5 pages including observations from the training and recommendations on future needs)

*An additional higher-level ½ day can be provided for ‘senior executives’ and ½ day discussion with the NDA.

2. E CO. INSTITUTE REMOTE COACHING

We can arrange remote training and coaching sessions online, at a time and date, that is suitable to you, to work on your specific project and answer your specific questions. Please contact us for further details and costs. Our remote coaching sessions include:

  • Initial review of project idea / draft concept note with written feedback
  • Eight 1-2-1 group surgery/office hours calls (30 minutes dealing with common questions each week)
  • Two reviews of updated concept note with written feedback over 8-week period
